Fitness

I have recently restarted Insanity. If you don't know, Insanity is a 60 day fitness DVD run by Shaun T. He is an "American fitness trainer & choreographer" (according to Wikipedia) I started with the Fit Test on January 20th. That didn't go too well, but everyone has to start somewhere, right!? I first started Insanity last year sometime during summer but stopped about 25 days in. I'm not sure why, I just couldn't be bothered to carry on. However now, I need to make sure I complete it! I'm going on tour with my cheer squad in April and want to get fit & get the best body I can achieve by that point. Clean eating (as much as possible) and working out 5 - 6 days a week. I really need to stay motivated and do what I can. No more take-out or fizzy drinks, it's all about the fruit & veg and water. Yum yum! I'm also planning to go on a Summer holiday with my best friend and a few others. That's another reason I need to get fi...

Nandos OOTN.

I went out for a little Nandos dinner date with one of my good friends, Roisin. This isn't the clearest picture as it was taken off my phone (a Samsung Galaxy SII) but I still thought I'd show you guys what I was wearing. Jumper - Forever 21 (from India) Tube pants - River Island Boots - Timberland (£80, bargain!) Socks - Grey HUF socks It was just a quick & casual outfit that I put together. You can't see my make-up at all, but I thought I'd actually make an effort. I never usually go out with any make-up because, well, I'm lazy. But I wore Foundation - The Body Shop extra virgin minerals loose powder foundation Mascara - Maybelline volum' express the colossal cat eyes for the top lashes / Maybelline great lash on the bottom Eye liner - Maybelline New York eye studio master duo glossy liquid liner When there, I decided to go for something different as I'm trying to get "healthier" (so I tell myself every d...

Hello 20

On the sixth of January, it was my twentieth birthday, hoorah! I'm not completely sure if I'm okay about that yet but oh well, just another year older - still none the wiser. My parents are currently in India/Dubai so I wasn't able to spend the day with them. Instead, I was woken up by my sister singing happy birthday with a cake lit with twenty candles. I was still in bed as I blew them out. She then gave me my presents. I didn't ask for anything from my family as I had got some Bose speakers and a brand new laptop for university purposes as I am living out. They costed a fortune so I didn't want to spend any more money as I was happy with them being my Christmas - Diwali - birthday present's all in one. But my mum thought ahead and had bought some bits before she went. I got a Bob Marley t-shirt, 3 Barry M gelly hi-shine nail polishes (watermelon, blood orange, blue grape) and a Jamie Oliver cookbook . I didn't have a lot planned for the rest of...
