College

I'm currently in my second year of college (or Year 13 as people call it.) I'm meant to be in my first year of University but I didn't do that well in my first year of A Levels. I got 2 U's, 1 E and 1 D. I admit, I used to be hugely ashamed of this but I'm not anymore. I'm actually glad that I didn't do well in that. I'm not in college doing a BTEC National Diploma in Travel & Tourism. If you don't know what a BTEC is, it's an only coursework based subject. There are no exams involved. I personally don't think exams are a strong point of mine at all, which is why I decided to retake my first year and make it a completely fresh start. To be honest, it's probably one of the best decisions I've made. In my opinion, if you like to interact with other people and do more creative things, a BTEC would be ideal. But that's just what I think so don't hold me to it. The first year of this BTEC was.... "iffy". It was de...

REVIEW: Breaking Dawn Part 2

NOTE: SPOILERS ALERT! I am a Twi-hard. I'm going to admit it from now. I absolutely LOVE Twilight. I've read all the books countless times, watched the movies God knows how many times and I am simply obsessed. The debate between Team Jacob and Team Edward for me is probably the easiest answer I have ever given. For me, it has to be.. Team Edward. No questions asked, I am 100% Team Edward! That flawless human- I mean vampire-being. Oh he's so perfect. And sweet. And caring. Oh I should stop. The people that are Team Jacob, from experience, tend to have only seen the movies. They haven't read the books. The books go into so much more detail and it's so much more romantic so if you haven't read them, I very strongly recommend that you do. (IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED IN THE MOVIE, DON'T READ ON. THIS IS A MIXTURE OF SPOILERS & A REVIEW) I went to watch the midnight showing of Breaking Dawn Part 2 and it was genuinely the best film in...

10/11/12

Today has been a somewhat productive day. I woke up at 6.30 and had to be out the house by 7.30/8.00 to pick up my aunt from the airport. We ended up leaving the house at the time that she landed which I thought was really bad but it turns out she had to wait for about 1/2 an hour - 45 minutes more because the airline had lost her luggage! Annoying. So we went to a drivethru mcdonalds and I wanted the sausage and egg mcmuffin cause I don't like egg by itself. They gave me egg by itself and I didn't like it much! But it was a blessing in disguise because we forgot that we couldn't eat meat today so its better I ate egg rather that pork, ha. We went to my grandmas house which is always fun.. We had to make these Indian sweet stuffs because its diwali in a few days which means loads of visitors and fatty food! - and possibly money but I don't remember. They did that and I took the dog, Candy for a walk. I'll explain more about her next time. But that's a whole ot...

CV's & jobs.

Hello beauties! Today I need to update my CV and go out to give them out because I want a new job.. I have a job at the moment but I feel like I need a change. I've been working at this current place for about 6 months but I think I just get bored really easily. Yes I know I'm lucky that I have a job but I'm simply contemplating getting another one more in the line of what I actually want to do in the future, which is Event Management. I want to give my CV in to hotels & radio stations but it's SUPER hard to get work at any of these places, which is why I need to try super hard to do it. I know that if I get work at a radio station, I will (HOPEFULLY & MOST PROBABLY) enjoy it WAY more then retail! I much prefer not having to do the same thing everyday, repeating things whenever I'm at work and just saying the same thing whenever I'm working. The kind of job I want to do is something that will stretch me to my limits; something that will give me a d...

Winter coat?

Image
Help me out! I'm looking for a jacket/coat to wear throughout winter. I live in the UK so it does generally get EXTREMELY cold. I would wear it to college, work and just as a casual thing when I'm out and about. It needs to be pretty warm, as you can tell. I've been looking at this for quite a while and absolutely love it but I'm not too sure whether it's worth £45. It costs £36.26 for the jacket itself but then had a £9.00 shipping fee on top of it. I do genuinely LOVE the look of it but I'm not sure about the price! It's from NastyGal   and all the details are on the site. Please help me out? Much love! xxx

Make up

Image
Recently, I've been getting really into my skincare. I don't have flawless skin but it is in reasonably good condition.Very rarely do I wear foundation or eye make-up. All I do is have a shower, moisturise my face and BAM I'm good to go! However, I'm really looking into different types of make-up that I could start to wear and other skincare regimes that I could follow in order to keep my skin in the condition its in now and make it even better if possible! I mean, whats the point in trying to make your skin look better if you're just going to plaster it the next day? Note: May I just point out, everything I'm saying is meant in absolutely NO offence to others! I have no problem with people that wear make-up, as long as it's enhancing your features & doesn't make you look completely plastered. Foundation Anyway! I've made a foundation  purchase. It's from The Body Shop and is called Extra Virgin Minerals Loose Powder Foundation . I ...

7/11/12

I've been having a pretty average week. Doesn't feel like Thursday. Time just seems to be going really slow but then speeds up extremely and the week's practically gone! Today I've been to college and that's literally it. Had a 6 inch Subway for lunch (absolutely tiny !) and a drink. Came home and had some cheese & onion crisps and I'm now sitting down eating some Maynards Sour Patch kids. I literally feel like a fat slob today! Going to have a green tea later, try to detoxify my body. Haha.
