21

This is a very late post and I am the worst when it comes to blogging. Always saying "I'm going to blog more" and I never do which I admit, is terrible. So instead of making promises that I'd potentially break, I'm just going to promise that I will continue blogging but the frequency of my posts are undetermined.

Enough of the hello's and apologies!

On January the 6th, it was my birthday. I turned 21 (woo) and a lot happened. It was a weeks worth of celebrations and I couldn't have asked for anything better.

I had made plans with one of my best friends, Sarah, to have breakfast and then go out and just have a day together. We hadn't seen each other in around 2 months with me being in Helsinki and her being in Manchester. So I went to her house at around 10:00 and we made our way to Wembley Outlet to have breakfast at Coast-to-Coast. When we walked in, we got guided to the back and there was my family and other closest friends and cousins! I shed a few tears. They had all planned a surprise breakfast for me and we then went to the ice skating rink just outside. It was amazing! The breakfast itself was gorgeous. I had pancakes and maple syrup and then the full English breakfast works. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to go somewhere for breakfast.

A few of them then ended up coming back to my house to relax and get ready for the next day. Unfortunately, Sarah had to go home because she was going back to Manchester but this was an amazing day that I got to spend with my favourite people thanks to her!

Today was pamper day. We went to Ria's Beauty and I got SO much done. Waxing, threading, my nails, a facial.. And I got my belly button pierced too. It was crazy. Wasn't the absolute most painful thing in the world but it did hurt a little. And now I'm pierced! I love it so much. It was a long day but I loved being able to spend it with my mum and friends. Being pampered alone is nowhere near as fun as when you're surrounded by the ones you love.

I admit, this isn't the most flattering picture of me but I don't care.. Look at my piercing! Woooooo!! After this, I came home to some family friends and we ordered pizza and had another great evening.

I got my haircut. It didn't take all day but it still happened. My hair wasn't unhealthy or anything but I'm trying to grow it out so I want to keep trimming it every 6 months.

MY BIRTHDAY! I woke up and opened my door to a trail of balloons, with the first one saying "follow us for a surprise". I wasn't expecting anything much so I followed them downstairs.... to find this.
MY FAMILY ARE THE BEST. I saw all of this and I was so close to just breaking down there and then. I did not think that THIS would happen! I was in shock (understatement). We had breakfast and I got to open it.. It was wonderful! I don't want to boast or anything so I'm just not going to go through everything I got. Safe to say I love my family a whole lot.

I then got ready for the evening because my parents were taking my sister, my 2 friends and I to a surprise venue for dinner. I wanted somewhere dressy so had no idea where we were going and it was a surprise. We ended up going to the OXO Tower and it was so nice. And extremely filling. Here's some pictures of my family and friends. (and my dress).

After dinner, we walked from the OXO Tower to Waterloo along the Thames and went home. It was a perfect birthday.

I went to Shaka Zulu (after stupid plan mix ups and replanning) and I wouldn't have changed it for the world. We went and I ended up meeting my favourite UK artist (for the second year in a row) which was an absolute coincidence but I loved it! I don't really remember much but it was a fabulous night.

There were a few more things that I did but I don't want to make this post any longer than necessary. This was an absolutely AMAZING birthday and I want to thank everyone who was a part of it. I couldn't have asked for anything more and I am so grateful about everything that happened. I have the greatest family & friends ever. ♥

If you actually managed to get to the end of this, I salute you.

Love you!
